Adjusting & Troubleshooting Seminar

Presented by Roy Kennedy

In today’s competitive market, efficiency is everything. This intensive, 8-hour seminar is engineered to transform your team into hydraulic elevator valve experts, reducing “trial-and-error” onsite and eliminating the unnecessary expense of replacing salvageable components.

🎓 Course Overview

  • Duration: 8 Hours (Full Day)
  • CEUs: Approved for 8.0 NAEC Continuing Education Credits
  • Capacity: Maximum 15 participants (Mechanics, Office Staff, and Management)
  • Equipment Focus: Maxton (UC-4/4M/4MR), EECO (UV-5A/5AT), and Dover (I-2/I-3)

🛠️ What Your Team Will Master

Our curriculum moves beyond theory into practical, hands-on diagnostics.

1. Valve Triage: The Fast Track to Solutions

  • Learn the “Fastest Route” to identify if a problem is Mechanical, Electrical, or Circulation-based.
  • Determine within minutes if a valve is worth a rebuild or if it’s time for an upgrade.

2. Precision Troubleshooting & Adjustment

  • Leak-Down Diagnostics: How to test specific internal seals and identify damaged surfaces.
  • Performance Issues: Solving stalls in leveling, re-leveling failures, and rough transitions.
  • The “Right First Time” Approach: Master I.D. and sizing for Maxton, EECO, and Dover to eliminate ordering errors.

3. The Hands-On “Valve Autopsy”

  • Using five failed valves provided by your team, we perform a deep-dive teardown.
  • Inspect pistons, sleeves, solenoid tubes, and pressure relief assemblies.
  • Learn “Tricks of the Trade” for identifying wear patterns, oil contamination, and spring fatigue.

📋 Logistics & Booking

  • Investment: $2,000 + travel expenses ($1,500 per additional day).
  • Materials: All seminar materials are shipped to your location in advance at our expense.
  • Requirements: The host organization must provide 5 failed valves, of any common type (EECO, Maxton, or Dover/TK), for the autopsy segment.
  • Lead Time: Please book at least 45 days in advance to ensure availability.

Stop guessing and start diagnosing. Give your team the technical edge they need to keep your units running smoothly.
